A 1948 Tucker Torpedo

I'm testing out the Mobile Blog feature here. The above picture is a picture of a rare 1948 Tucker Sedan. I took this picture at the Stone Mountain Antique Car and Treasure Museum (Link). Only 51 were produced and an amazing 47 out of the 51 are still in existence. For more information on the car, check out the Wikipedia entry.

It was a real treat getting to take a look at such a rare car. I doubt I'll ever have opportunity to come across another one of these in my lifetime. The auto museum there had several other interesting vehicles, including an early 20th century electric car. However, the Tucker was by far the "crown jewel" of the collection. If you're a car fan and you're ever in the Atlanta area, it's worth checking out the museum and the Tucker.
